Help my baby Gecko died

Postby scorpion251067 on Wed Sep 30, 2009 2:08 pm

Hi, my geckos laid eggs back early august, they were due to hatch around the 27th Sept 09, they all looked really good until 28th when two just kind of sunk in, anyway, I found that the baby had made a cut got its little head out, then that was it, it died there and then, the other eggs is also all sunken in, I can feel the baby gecko inside, but I dont know if its dead or alive, I dont know what went wrong, they were fine up until a day after they were due, the one that tried to hatch was perfectly formed, really beautiful, its so so sad Im totally gutted, I cannot understand what happened, can anyone help in this matter Please???
They are leopard Geckos and theyre in vermiculite humidity approx 79% I have an incubator which is at 32oC...nothing has changed at all, all the way through this has been consistant, heart breaking to see really heart breaking but I still have 4 more that are due at different times, 2 end of October other 2 end of Nov 09 plus the one that has sunken in, how do I know if this one is alive or dead, why would it go like this after all this time, and yes this is my 1st time with gecko eggs, and to be honest after this it will be my last
